Here is a photograph taken inside Beverley Minster. Located in Beverley, Yorkshire, England, UK.
our world has so many beautiful churches and cathedrals!
I am lucky that in the UK we have very many cathedrals, abbeys, minsters and churches.
Hermosa arquitectura, impresionare profundidad y excelente fotografía. Un saludo.
what i liked about this is the angle and the signs that they have up, they compliment the place and the photo when you see it in the larger image. well done
Yes it is nice in this minster that they have the colourful sings up, makes the photograph more interesting.
How beautiful! Love the stained glass windows on the right hand side. The colors caught my eye.
Cathedrals and minsters are lovely places to visit. Some of the stained glass windows in these places are amazing.
I live in America, and most of the places that look even similar are nearly 2000 miles away. So this is where I come to look.
America might not have loads of cathedrals, but they will have some only public buildings that are interesting. If you go into google maps and zoom in to an area and type cathedral all the cathedrals in that zoomed area will show up. This works not just for the word cathedral but for all sorts of stuff, so you could find some interesting stuff in your area. Google maps is your friend. I use it all the time to find new and interesting places near me.
It is really nice. Technically this is a minster which means it is a bog standard church, even though it is huge and beautiful. Cathedrals are different. Cathedral comes from the greek word kathedra, which means seat, the seat where the bisphop sits for his dioces in their local area. I have done quite a few cathedrals and minsters. If you are interested in seeing the others then maybe you would like to take a look at my internal architecture gallery here : [link]
Gorgeous photography! Very impressive!
